Thomas & Katie's Wedding
I photographed Katie's wedding this past Saturday at Calloway Hill. The location was absolutely beautiful! Katie's wedding was the second wedding at Calloway Hill. It was a perfect day, even though the weather forecast called for rain. The rain held off until immediately after the ceremony, then it poured! It rained the rest of the night! The rain didn't dampen the events, everyone had a wonderful time. The White Chocolate Band from Charlotte performed for the reception. They were great!

Matthew and Lori's Engagement Session
I met Lori and Matthew at Jetton Park on Friday. I had so much fun shooting this engagement session! Lori tried to tell me she wasn't a girlie girl, that she was more of a tomboy. (She looks very girlie to me!) There were so many places to shoot, we ended up taking a ton of pictures. Matthew was a real sport for tolerating us!

Earth Day
My eccentric daughter has brought to my attention the importance of going "green". Therefore, I have decided to post this cool, not so small bag.
The following is copied from their website:
(Cause they explain it better than I ever could!) They are also available at Amazon.
LET US EXPLAIN WHY BAGGUS ARE SO GOOD. We are working to replace our old friends, the paper & plastic bags, with something that does their job without creating needless waste or harming the environment. Using one Baggu for one year replaces 300 to 700 disposable bags.
One Baggu holds the contents of 2 to 3 plastic grocery bags. Six bags can hold a whole cart full of groceries.
Baggu Bag handles are the perfect length: you can hold them in your hand, on your forearm, or over your shoulder.
They are made from super strong rip-stop nylon (holds 25 lbs) so they are light (2 oz) and compactible. They fold into a flat 5 by 5 inch pouch that easily slips in a purse or pocket. That way they are always handy when you need them.
Baggu bags have a nice big gusset in the bottom so they will sit flat when they are filled (good for eggs & milk.)

And a couple of pictures! ( I ordered 2 lime, 2 fushia, and 2 black)

Liz's Bridal Session
I photographed Liz's session yesterday. I love spring! It was so nice to go out and see all of the beautiful flowers! I thought the dogs looked so cute in their tuxes! I have never seen dogs that were so well behaved! They seemed to enjoy their new clothes!
I love this picture of Liz! This is definitely my favorite from the session!
This smile was not for the photographer! You can see how beautiful she is when she is looking at her fiance! We took this picture right after she had kissed Jeff!
You can see how much see loves Jeff, just by the look in her eyes! (Yes, she is looking directly at Jeff!)
Jeff also adores Liz! He even altered the dogs suits himself! He also helped her pick out her wedding dress! He made her try on 40 dresses! But he chose the first one she tried on!

The Studio and the New Landscaping
We have been doing some landscaping around the studio. It is starting to look really nice. And since I have never posted any pictures of the interior of the studio, I decided to take pictures of everything.
This is the messy area no one actually sees, where we keep our props!

Carla and BJ's Engagement Session
I had great time photographing Carla and BJ. They are such an easy going couple. They couldn't take a bad picture. I love Carla's smile! I also loved her haircut! I had been thinking of having mine cut like that for the last couple of weeks. I snapped a picture of it to take to my beautician, and had mine cut the following day!

Thomas and Katie's Engagement Session
I had a great time photographing Katie's engagement session. I love the opportunity to go somewhere different to do a location session. You just don't get any better than this! This property is beautiful! It will make a perfect place for a wedding!
Katie and Thomas make a perfect couple! You can tell they are just perfect for each other!
